The University of Leeds's School of History has an international reputation for innovative research and teaching methods, so it's no surprise it's been ranked 12th in the UK by the Guardian's 2021 University Guide. This department is made up of diverse and knowledgeable lecturers who specialise in a variety of fields including medieval studies, medical history, the histories of Africa, South and East Asia and the Americas as well as European, British and international history.
