Can we trust Dr Birx or Dr Fauci? I don't think so, though it sickens me to see it and say it.
Many are increasingly convinced they do not have the best interests of the nation in mind, though they act as if they care very much. The pandemic is very real and serious, but the advice as to how to handle this is mistaken and more deaths will occur if these lock downs continue much longer: suicides, lack of access to proper healthcare or exercise, shortages of food, violence, crime, rioting, and other diseases will break out when societal order crumbles as the economy crumbles!
We can learn much about Dr Birx from her work with Dr Redfield when they both advanced an AIDS vaccine that didn't work, and misrepresented the data from a clinical trial to seek further approval. Birx was co-author with Redfield on journal articles publishing their work.
Dr Redfield (whose co-author was Dr Birx) was credibly accused of fabricating or misrepresenting data for AIDS vaccine!

What if all these lock downs were unnecessary and a different policy of selective quarantine and testing were done? what if the economic devastation already suffered by our nation was completely avoidable?

So, the "greatest" deception in any type of "war" is to get your enemy to willingly agree to surrender.
Are "we the people" the "enemy" of those who would rule us or control us? Are tyrannical policies that make no sense (like forbidding stores from selling gardening supplies and seeds in the middle of planting season) aimed at helping us or not? Something to think about!
